Pros: I really liked the hybrid work model. As a Senior Design Engineer, I could work from home a few days a week, which was awesome. It really helps with the daily commute and personal errands, offering solid work flexibility for hardware engineering roles.
Cons: Some teams felt a bit behind on using the hybrid options, so it can really depend on your direct manager. Not every department in the Austin, TX office has the same level of flexibility, which can be tough.

Pros: The hybrid work option is a definite plus. We usually do two days WFH, which really helps with the commute in San Jose, CA traffic. It's a decent setup for many in the semiconductor industry.
Cons: True work flexibility is often limited by project deadlines and the need to be onsite for fab activities. As a Process Engineer, you can't always just work remotely when the wafers are running. Some teams have pretty strict core hours, limiting real work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Try to give more autonomy to teams on hybrid schedules when feasible. Understand that not all engineering roles require constant onsite presence.
