Leadership is a bit of a mixed bag.
Pros: Some senior Project Managers are genuinely good, especially if you're new. They'll actually teach you the ropes on specific construction projects and site management, which is great for new Project Engineers. You learn a lot if you're proactive.
Cons: Direction from top leadership can be really inconsistent, creating a lot of confusion for onsite work in Singapore. It's tough when they change strategy constantly; makes planning hard for our engineering teams. Sometimes it feels like there's a lack of clear vision for P+A Projects Pte Ltd.
Advice to Management: Focus on clear, consistent communication and strategic planning. Your Project Engineers and construction teams need stable direction to deliver efficiently. Invest in leadership training for middle management too.

Leadership needs a clearer direction here.
Pros: You do get a lot of hands-on experience managing construction projects, which is good for your resume. The team dynamic with fellow Project Coordinators is generally supportive, making onsite work more bearable.
Cons: Leadership is pretty disconnected from day-to-day site coordination issues. They don't give much clear guidance, and feedback feels scarce or unhelpful. It's hard to improve without proper direction.
Advice to Management: Try to be more visible and involved with the actual construction projects. Give clear direction to Project Coordinators and offer constructive feedback. Improve communication channels within this mid-sized firm.
