Pros: It's a really stable company, which is great for job security in the financial technology sector. I've had good opportunities to learn new tech stacks and deepen my understanding of capital markets. Colleagues are generally supportive and team-oriented. The hybrid work model is a plus.
Cons: Things can move a bit slowly sometimes due to the large corporate structure and legacy systems. Approval processes can be lengthy, which might frustrate those looking for a very fast-paced startup environment.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining some of the internal processes to empower teams and accelerate project delivery. Encouraging more cross-departmental agility would also boost morale.

Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer at Broadridge in Newark, NJ. It's a very stable company in the FinTech industry, which gives a nice sense of job security. My team is incredibly supportive, and there are always opportunities to learn new technologies and processes, especially for career development. The hybrid work model is a huge plus, offering great work flexibility. Benefits are solid, and the pay is competitive for my role.
Cons: One area that could use some improvement is the pace of career growth and promotions; it can feel a bit slow sometimes. Also, as with any large financial services firm, we do deal with some legacy systems, which can be a bit challenging at times. Communication across the huge global organization could be more streamlined too, but it's not a deal-breaker.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining career progression paths to make them more transparent and faster for individual contributors. Investing more in modernizing some of the older tech stacks would also be highly beneficial for overall efficiency and employee morale.

Pros: Many teams in the Long Island office embrace a hybrid work model. As a Software Engineer, I usually hit my 40 hours and then I'm done, which is good. It's stable work in the fintech industry.
Cons: Sometimes projects in investor communications can have really tight deadlines, so it gets tough. It's easy to get pulled into after-hours calls if you don't set boundaries. Career growth isn't always clear for technical roles.
Advice to Management: Please be more mindful of project deadlines, especially those for investor communications. It impacts our personal time. Also, clearer career paths for Software Engineer roles would be helpful.
