Pros: I've really enjoyed my time here as a Supply Chain Analyst. The biggest pro is definitely the focus on career growth. I've had access to great learning opportunities and mentors who've helped me understand the ins and outs of electronics manufacturing. My colleagues are super supportive, making it a stable and collaborative environment. The hybrid work model in Austin is also a huge plus, giving me good work flexibility to balance things.
Cons: While there's a lot of growth, the promotion process can feel a bit slow sometimes, especially in a large global company like this. It's not always clear what the next step is, or how long it will take. Also, because it's such a dynamic industry, there are occasional busy periods, which can impact work-life balance briefly.
Advice to Management: Continue investing in clearer career progression paths and communication around promotion timelines. This would help employees feel more aligned and motivated about their future within Flex.

Pros: I've been a Software Engineer at Flex in Austin, TX for a few years now, and it's been a pretty good experience overall. As a global technology company, there are always interesting projects in electronics manufacturing and supply chain. I've had lots of chances to learn new skills and tools. My colleagues are super supportive, and the hybrid work model is a huge plus for my work-life balance.
Cons: Career progression, especially for Software Engineers, can feel a bit slow sometimes. Getting that next promotion takes dedication and patience. Also, there's definitely some bureaucracy that comes with being a large, global electronics manufacturing company. This means approval processes and getting things moving can take longer than you'd expect, which can be a bit frustrating on fast-paced projects.
Advice to Management: Management should look into streamlining some of the internal approval processes to speed up project execution. Also, making career progression paths clearer and more transparent for engineering roles would be beneficial for employee retention and motivation.
