Okay for Ad Ops, but growth is slow
Pros: Good for learning the basics of programmatic advertising and ad serving platforms. As an Ad Operations Specialist, I picked up skills quickly on the job. The team in the Copenhagen office is also super collaborative.
Cons: Career growth is really slow. There aren't many clear paths to move from operations into other areas like product or engineering. Promotions for Ad Operations roles are rare, and salary bumps aren't huge. It feels a bit stagnant after the first year.
Advice to Management: Create clearer career paths for Ad Operations. Invest more in internal training and allow easier transitions for employees interested in new departments.
