Great Place for Growth and Learning in Tech
Pros: I've had a really positive experience here as a Software Engineer. The team is super collaborative, and I've learned a ton working on challenging projects in the tech industry. Management is generally supportive, and there's a good emphasis on personal development and skill building.
Cons: Sometimes, the approval processes can feel a bit slow, which can bottleneck progress. Also, there are occasional busy periods that require a bit more effort to keep up with.
Advice to Management: I'd suggest focusing on streamlining some of the internal approval workflows to speed up project execution.

Pretty Solid for Hybrid Work Flexibility
Pros: I really liked the hybrid model, it's a huge plus. We get 2-3 WFH days a week, which is great for work-life balance. For a deep tech startup, they're surprisingly understanding about personal appointments.
Cons: The main issue is that project deadlines can override any flexibility. Sometimes, as a Research Engineer, you just have to be onsite for lab work or specific simulations. The policy says flexible, but reality can be tougher for technical roles.
Advice to Management: Keep promoting the hybrid work, but be more realistic about onsite requirements for specific technical roles. Consistency across teams would help.

Not much room to grow here
Pros: I've learned a lot about real-world AI/ML development as a Junior Software Engineer. You get hands-on experience quickly in the Boston office. It's a fast-paced startup, so you pick up things if you're proactive.
Cons: There's not a lot of formal mentorship or a clear promotion path. It feels like you hit a ceiling pretty fast here. Management doesn't really invest in career development past the initial ramp-up.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating structured career paths and mentorship programs. Invest in employee development beyond just project work.
