Pros: I really appreciate the remote work setup. It gives me a lot of flexibility in my day-to-day, which is huge for my personal life. As a Field Service Technician, not having a daily commute saves me a ton of time.
Cons: The biggest downside is that client demands for our industrial tech solutions can pop up at all hours. It's tough to truly disconnect sometimes, even with remote work. There isn't always a clear 40-hour work week.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for client response expectations, especially for remote industrial tech roles. It would help improve overall employee well-being.

Pros: I really appreciated the ability to work remote, which helps a lot with personal appointments and commuting time. For my Software Engineer role, the team was usually understanding if I needed a bit of flexibility here and there. It's a big corporate company, so there are established processes, which can be good.
Cons: The work-life balance can definitely swing. There are periods where you're working well over 40 hours, especially when project deadlines hit in the industrial technology sector. It's not uncommon to see engineers online late, which isn't great for burnout.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scopes better to avoid constant crunch times for engineering teams. More focus on preventing burnout would go a long way.

Pros: My direct manager is super supportive; that's a big plus, especially for remote work. As a Senior Software Engineer, I get a good amount of autonomy. The projects in the industrial technology sector are genuinely interesting.
Cons: Upper leadership can feel pretty disconnected from the ground level. Decision-making for big changes often takes way too long, which gets frustrating. It's hard to see a clear vision sometimes from the top brass.
Advice to Management: Try to be more present and transparent with the teams. Speed up the big decisions and make sure everyone understands the strategy. We need clearer direction from the top.
