Pros: As a Software Engineer in the San Francisco office, the base salary here is pretty solid. They're competitive with what you'd see in the tech industry for similar big tech roles. I've also gotten decent yearly bonuses, which is nice.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, especially compared to other companies. Health insurance options aren't fantastic, and the 401k match is pretty weak. There's not much for tuition reimbursement or other perks.
Advice to Management: Anotech needs to seriously re-evaluate its benefits package to attract and retain top talent. Boosting the 401k match and improving health plan options would make a huge difference.

Cons: It's a demanding place. The push for performance can lead to burnout. Work-life balance for engineers isn't great.
Advice to Management: Focus more on sustainable workloads. Recognize and reward efforts without just piling on more tasks. A better work-life balance would really boost morale.

Pros: I've definitely learned a lot as a Software Engineer here, picking up new skills and working with modern frameworks. The teams are pretty solid, and there's a good vibe in the Austin, TX office most days. It's a decent place for hands-on experience in the tech industry.
Cons: Job security is a real concern. There's been a lot of unexpected turnover recently, and it feels like projects get cancelled without much warning. I worry about layoffs; it makes planning for the future tough for anyone in a technical role.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about company direction and financial health. Improve communication around project changes and future staffing needs to alleviate employee fears about job security. Invest in retaining talent.
