Great Place to Develop Your Recruitment Career
Pros: The training for new Recruitment Consultants is excellent, really helping you understand the recruitment industry. Learning opportunities are constant. My colleagues are supportive and collaborative, creating a great team atmosphere in a fast-paced sales environment.
Cons: Workload can be very demanding during peak times, impacting work-life balance sometimes. Also, while career development is available, the promotion process can feel a bit slower than expected even with solid performance.

Decent Base, But Commission Can Be Tough
Pros: The base salary for a Recruitment Consultant in the London office was pretty solid, better than some other mid-sized recruitment firms. They did offer a standard pension plan too, which is always good to have.
Cons: The commission structure itself felt really tough to hit sometimes, especially in the current staffing industry climate. Benefits outside of the basics weren't that great; don't expect much beyond standard.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the commission thresholds to make them more achievable, especially for long-term employees. It'd really help with retention in this competitive recruitment firm environment.

Hybrid Work's Okay, But Not Truly Flexible
Pros: The hybrid work model is a definite plus; you get 2 WFH days a week. This really helps cut down on commute time for those of us in the London office. It's a solid benefit for a fast-paced recruitment firm.
Cons: Sometimes the WFH days feel restricted by team meetings or client calls that need you onsite. For a Recruitment Consultant, true flexibility can be tough when hitting targets. It's not always as easy to just log off early if your work is done, compared to other roles.
Advice to Management: Seriously consider letting teams manage their own WFH schedules more flexibly. Empower consultants to decide when they're most productive, rather than a blanket rule. This would really help with retention in our competitive talent acquisition industry.
