Software Engineer

Culture is okay, pretty chill for remote work
Pros: I liked the flexibility for remote work; it's a huge plus for WFH culture. For technical roles like a Software Engineer, you get pretty good autonomy on your machine learning projects. The people are generally supportive, especially within individual teams.
Cons: The "startup vibe" can sometimes mean a lack of clear processes, which gets frustrating. Communication isn't always great, especially between different departments in this mid-sized tech company. It felt a bit cliquey at times, which isn't ideal for new hires.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving cross-team communication. Standardize processes more, especially as the company grows beyond its initial startup phase.
