Good Learning Environment and Work-Life
Pros: The team is incredibly supportive and collaborative; I've learned a lot. We have great work flexibility with a hybrid model, which is fantastic for work-life balance. It's a stable company with good learning opportunities.
Cons: Approval processes can be a bit slow at times. Also, formal career progression isn't always transparent, though there's plenty of informal growth if you seek it out.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining the approval processes and clearly outlining career progression paths for employees. This would greatly enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Decent for growth, but culture needs work
Pros: I learned a ton as a junior software engineer. There are lots of opportunities for growth if you're proactive. Working on their core SaaS platform definitely boosted my skills, and the hybrid model gave some good flexibility.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit off sometimes. It's hard to connect with folks outside your immediate team. Leadership could definitely do better at clear communication, which impacts team morale.
Advice to Management: Focus on more inclusive social events and clearer communication channels to foster better company culture across all teams.

Career Growth is Tough for Engineers
Pros: The engineering teams here are solid. I've learned a lot from my peers on the day-to-day. It's a decent tech startup if you like contributing directly to projects from the start.
Cons: As a Software Engineer, the career growth path isn't clear at all. There aren't many opportunities for promotion or taking on bigger projects. It's tough to move up, even if you're doing good work in the Austin office. Feels like many senior roles are already filled.
Advice to Management: Leadership needs to build out clear career development plans. Give Software Engineers more opportunities to take on new challenges and get promoted. It's a real issue for retention.
