Okay WLB for a Mid-Size Tech Company
Pros: I've gotta say, the hybrid model really helps. As a Data Analyst in the San Francisco office, I could split my week. That extra flexibility makes a big difference for personal appointments and avoiding rush hour.
Cons: Sometimes project deadlines mean longer hours, especially for data initiatives. It's tough when you're pushing for big launches. You can definitely feel the pressure to work late some weeks, which impacts your overall work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Try to forecast project loads better. It'd help a lot with managing expectations and preventing burnout for teams.

Hybrid Model is Okay, Not Truly Flexible
Pros: I appreciate the official hybrid model; it's good to WFH a couple of days. This helps a lot with the Austin traffic, especially as a software development professional. It's a decent setup for entry-level roles.
Cons: However, the 'flexible hours' aren't truly flexible, you're pretty tied to core business hours. Management often pushes for more in-office days than policy. It's not great if you need real work-life adjustments.
