Software Engineer

Pay is decent, but could be better
Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer is pretty competitive for the Singapore market. You get a yearly bonus, which is a nice extra. Health insurance coverage is solid and covers most needs without issues.
Cons: Don't expect top-tier tech compensation like you'd find at huge companies. Pay raises aren't super generous, and benefits like the retirement plan matching are pretty standard, not exceptional. There's not much flexibility in customizing benefits either.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the total compensation package, especially for experienced engineering roles, to be more competitive within the Singapore software industry. Consider offering more flexible or enhanced benefits options.

Decent Pay for Tech, Benefits Need Work
Pros: As a Software Developer here, the base salary is pretty decent for the tech industry in Singapore. It's competitive with other mid-sized firms. You don't have to fight too hard for annual increments if your performance is solid.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, honestly. We don't get stock options, and the bonuses aren't very substantial. Healthcare coverage is pretty standard, nothing fancy like you'd see at larger tech companies in the Singapore office.
Advice to Management: Seriously look into enhancing the benefits package. Offering better healthcare, more substantial bonuses, or even some kind of equity program would make a huge difference in attracting and retaining top talent in this competitive Singapore tech market.

Pay and Benefits are Just Okay
Pros: Health insurance is pretty standard. They do offer some annual leave and basic dental coverage, which is decent for a mid-sized tech company. The Singapore office has a good location.
Cons: Salary isn't really competitive for a Software Engineer here. For similar roles in other tech companies, the base pay is definitely higher. Bonuses are inconsistent, and stock options are non-existent, which is tough.
Advice to Management: To attract and retain top talent, especially for technical roles like Software Engineer, MINDSG Ltd really needs to review its compensation structure. Bringing salaries up to market rate and considering some form of equity or more consistent performance bonuses would make a big difference.
