Good remote setup, but busy at times
Pros: I really appreciated the WFH flexibility as a Software Engineer. It's a huge plus to manage personal stuff. For a big tech company, they don't demand 80-hour weeks constantly.
Cons: Still, the work-life balance during major release cycles for our SaaS platform can be rough. It's tough to truly disconnect when deadlines are tight. Sometimes there's pressure to work late from my remote setup in California.
Advice to Management: Try to focus on more realistic sprint planning and better resource allocation. It would help avoid some of those late nights during critical release periods.

Culture's okay, but it's a big company now
Pros: The people are generally smart and friendly, especially within smaller teams. There's a decent sense of camaraderie if you're working on specific projects, which helps as a Data Analyst. Plus, the hybrid work model is pretty flexible.
Cons: The corporate culture feels a bit generic now. It's tough to feel connected to the bigger picture sometimes, especially in the SaaS industry where things move fast. There's a lot of focus on metrics, which can make things feel less human.
Advice to Management: Try to empower teams more and foster a stronger sense of identity beyond just hitting numbers. The initial startup vibe is gone, but something new and positive can take its place.

Job Security Is Okay, Not Amazing Here
Pros: The company has a solid product in the experience management software space. As a Customer Success Manager, I felt like my role was crucial to client retention. There's good remote work flexibility which helps with work-life balance.
Cons: Job security here isn't what it used to be. There were significant layoffs last year, which really shook things up for many in the SaaS industry. It's tough to feel fully secure when you see colleagues go.
Advice to Management: Leadership needs to be more transparent about the company's financial health and future plans, especially after major restructuring. Clear communication about job roles and stability would help morale.
