Pros: They're pretty good about letting you set your own schedule. As a Software Developer, I could usually start early or late, which was a huge plus for my WFH setup. The company does allow some flexibility for appointments too.
Cons: Sometimes project deadlines meant putting in extra hours, and flexibility went out the window. It's tough when you're on a tight web development project; there isn't much room to move. Managers don't always respect after-hours messages.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project loads so developers don't burn out. Also, respect employees' off-hours more consistently. It'd boost morale a lot.
