Pros: I appreciate the hybrid work setup; it helps on slower days. As a Research Scientist, I do get some autonomy over my lab schedule which is a plus. The benefits package is also quite decent.
Cons: Expect some really long weeks, especially during peak seasons in agricultural research. It's tough to consistently maintain a 40-hour week in the Raleigh, NC office. Sometimes the demands from global teams in different time zones add extra pressure, affecting my personal time.
