Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Your Team
Pros: As a Software Engineer, the company's hybrid model is generally okay. You typically spend 3 days in the Seattle office and 2 days remote. This setup gives a decent amount of flexibility compared to full onsite requirements for software development roles.
Cons: Consistency is a real issue. Some teams and managers are much stricter about those 3 in-office days than others. It makes planning tough if you rely on more consistent WFH for personal needs. The official policy sounds better than it often is.
Advice to Management: Encourage all team leads to actually embrace the hybrid model consistently. Trust your engineers more with WFH options and ensure policies are applied fairly across all software development teams.

Culture is okay, but could be better
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I found my immediate team pretty solid. We'd often do casual team lunches in the Austin, TX office, which helped build some good camaraderie. It's a decent corporate environment.
Cons: Communication from upper management isn't always clear. Sometimes it feels like there's a disconnect, especially for those in hybrid roles. Recognition for hard work can be pretty low, which is a bummer.
Advice to Management: Management needs to work on transparency and better communication. More recognition for individual contributions would also really help boost morale across all our engineering teams.
