Company Summary

Company Reviews

Originally founded as Harlem RBI, DREAM traces its beginnings to 1991, when a group of volunteers transformed an abandoned, garbage-strewn lot into two baseball diamonds for the youth of East Harlem. Over three decades later, we serve thousands of children across East Harlem and the Bronx through a network of free DREAM Charter Schools and afterschool and summer programming.

From our schools to our playing fields, DREAM is committed to building a team where each individual can bring their full identity and experience to work because representation matters. We are dedicated to creating a world where youth, especially youth of color, have permission to dream—along with the tools and opportunities to make their dreams reality.

Good Place to Learn and Grow Your Tech Skills
Pros: I've really appreciated the collaborative atmosphere. As a Software Engineer, I get to work with smart, supportive colleagues in the technology industry. The remote setup helps with work-life balance, and there are good learning opportunities. Management is generally supportive.
Cons: Approval processes can sometimes feel a bit slow, occasionally delaying project timelines. Also, communication about larger company initiatives for remote teams could be clearer.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining approval workflows to help projects move faster. Also, work on enhancing internal communication, especially for those of us working remotely, to ensure everyone feels connected to broader company goals.
