Great Flexibility in a Stable IT Services Environment
Pros: I've really valued the flexible work options here, whether hybrid or remote, which genuinely helps with work-life balance. As a Technical Consultant in IT services, I get to work on diverse projects and learn new technologies. Colleagues are supportive and the company offers a stable environment.
Cons: Career progression can feel a bit slow sometimes, which is a common frustration. Also, some internal approval processes can be a bit bureaucratic, typical for a large enterprise, but it could be more streamlined.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some of the internal approval processes and clearly communicating career progression paths to help employees feel more empowered and engaged.

Good for Remote Work in IT Services
Pros: The big pro is definitely the work-from-home option. As an IT Project Manager, I've been able to work remotely from Texas since I started. It's a huge plus for work-life balance in the IT services industry.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility can be a bit inconsistent depending on the client or specific project. There are days where you're really tied to your desk for client calls, even if you're remote. It's not always a true 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Keep pushing for remote-first options where possible for roles like IT Project Manager. Also, try to standardize client expectations around working hours so flexibility isn't so project-dependent.

Okay pay for IT, benefits need work
Pros: As an IT Project Manager, the base salary was pretty decent for the managed services industry. I felt like I was compensated fairly for my level of experience. The hybrid work model helped a lot too.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, honestly. Health insurance options are just okay, and annual raises felt pretty minimal in this corporate environment. It's definitely not what you'd expect from a large IT services provider.
Advice to Management: Kyndryl should really look at improving its benefits package, especially health and dental. More competitive annual raises would also help with retention in the IT services sector.
