Pros: Teams are pretty good here, especially within the Data Science groups. You'll find solid support from peers in the Abu Dhabi office. It's a decent environment for an AI industry job.
Cons: Company culture leans really corporate, which slows things down a lot. There's a fair bit of red tape for us as Data Scientists. Innovation can feel stuck sometimes because of the bureaucracy.
Advice to Management: Work on streamlining processes and cutting down the corporate red tape. Empower teams more to make quicker decisions, especially for project execution.

Pros: My direct manager is usually supportive and responsive. They give us a good amount of autonomy for our data analytics projects. There's also a decent budget for tools and resources, which is a plus.
Cons: Upper management often feels disconnected from the ground-level work. Communication from leadership isn't always clear, especially about long-term company strategy. This makes it hard to feel secure or understand career paths for data science roles.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer, more consistent communication from the top leadership. Connect more with individual contributors and listen to their insights, especially for critical AI development initiatives. A clear long-term vision would really help everyone.

Pros: You get decent vacation time, which is good. The Presight Abu Dhabi office is pretty modern. Sometimes, project deadlines aren't too crazy for engineers working on AI solutions.
Cons: But honestly, work-life balance can get tough. We often pull long hours, especially before major releases. It's not uncommon to work weekends when you're deep into big data projects. The expectation is definitely onsite work, not much flexibility there.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scope better so engineers aren't constantly scrambling. More realistic deadlines would help a lot with burnout.
