Pros: I liked the job security you get with a large corporate company like Localiza&Co. The benefits package is solid, and for my Fleet Coordinator role, the work itself isn't too stressful most days. You learn a lot about vehicle rental logistics.
Cons: Leadership can be a bit detached. They often focus on numbers over people, which is tough for daily morale. There isn't much opportunity for work flexibility; it's mostly onsite work in the São Paulo office.
Advice to Management: Try to be more visible and connect with employees on the ground, especially in operations. It would help a lot with morale and understanding the day-to-day challenges for roles like Fleet Coordinator.

Pros: I've had some okay hybrid work as a Fleet Management Specialist here. It's nice to get two days a week remote. For a large corporate company in the car rental industry, that's better than nothing.
Cons: The biggest issue is that it's not consistent. Many positions, especially in the actual car rental branches, are strictly onsite. It can be tough for work-life balance when you're in the São Paulo office and traffic is bad on those in-office days.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more widespread hybrid options. It would really help with employee retention and overall morale, especially for those commuting to the São Paulo office.

Pros: The base pay for a Rental Agent at Localiza&Co in Belo Horizonte is actually pretty solid. It's consistent, and the health plan is decent, which is a big plus in the car rental industry. You know what you're getting.
Cons: But there isn't much room for salary growth unless you get promoted. Bonuses are rare, and the vacation time feels a bit limited, especially after a few years. Retirement benefits aren't super competitive either.
Advice to Management: Look into better long-term compensation packages and more competitive PTO. It'd help keep good people around longer, especially for crucial customer-facing roles like rental agents. Investing in growth paths could really make a difference.
