Pros: As a Network Engineer, the job felt secure for a good while. Telia's a big corporate player in the Nordic telecom market. There's always work maintaining the core network, and the 5G rollout kept us busy.
Cons: Layoffs can happen, especially when projects shift or new tech makes older roles less critical. It's not a small startup, so decisions come from high up. Our Stockholm office sometimes felt a bit out of the loop.
Advice to Management: Communicate big organizational changes faster and clearer. Help employees understand how their skills can adapt to new telecom technologies.

Pros: I liked that as a Customer Service Representative, my schedule was pretty fixed. In the Stockholm office, after your shift, you're usually done. The company also offers a decent hybrid work option which is a big plus.
Cons: Still, work-life balance can get tough, especially during heavy telecom traffic. There are periods where the customer support calls just don't stop. It makes it hard to switch off, even if you do technically leave on time.
Advice to Management: Try to staff up more during known peak periods. It would really help frontline Customer Service Representatives manage their stress better.

Pros: I appreciate the hybrid work model. As a Customer Service Representative in the telecom industry, it's nice to get a few WFH days a week. It really helps with my daily commute to the Stockholm office.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility feels a bit uneven across teams. There's also not much room to adjust your schedule if something unexpected pops up. It's pretty rigid once your two WFH days are set.
Advice to Management: Try to make the hybrid work policies more adaptable for individual team needs. A bit more trust in employees to manage their own time would go a long way in customer support roles.
