PNC Work-Life is Fine, Typical Big Bank
Pros: The hybrid work setup is a real plus, so you're not stuck in the office five days a week. You get good benefits, which is expected for a big corporate bank. Most managers try to respect your personal time, especially for Financial Analyst roles.
Cons: Work-life balance here is often tough in the financial services industry, and it shows during busy seasons. Expect 50-60 hour weeks sometimes. Even with hybrid work, there's pressure to be in the Pittsburgh office more often than not.
Advice to Management: Try to staff projects better to avoid crunch times. Encourage managers to truly empower remote work and flexibility instead of just offering a hybrid model.

Hybrid Model Works Okay, Room for More Flexibility
Pros: I've really liked the hybrid work option for Financial Analyst roles here. It's nice to have a few work-from-home days a week, helping with my commute to the Pittsburgh office. The big bank environment has decent tech for WFH, so that's a plus for work flexibility.
Cons: The flexibility is pretty strict though; it's usually 3 days in office, 2 WFH. Sometimes I wish there was more choice for specific banking industry projects. It feels less flexible than other corporate finance roles I've heard about.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing teams more autonomy in setting their hybrid schedules. More flexible options would really help with employee retention, especially for roles like mine.

Solid Place for Tech, Job Security is Okay
Pros: It's good for career stability in the banking industry. For Pittsburgh tech roles, PNC is a reliable employer. They do invest in new technologies, which keeps things relevant for a Software Engineer.
Cons: Reorgs can happen often, which makes people nervous about their roles. It's a big corporate environment, so things move slowly sometimes, which can feel uncertain.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about upcoming changes. It would help ease employee worries about job security and improve morale.
