Description
The Regional D&L Analyst, Asia Pacific provides necessary high touch service to the business and drive regional transportation and distribution process to achieve cost and lead-time effectiveness. He/she will support regional transportation leads with data analytic and project management.
This is a hands-on role which will require the ability to perform data analytic, drive process improvement and manage carrier performance review.
Job Description
- Supports transport planning and distribution team with report analytic to ensure internal and external stakeholder needs are achieved, and are cost effective based on required delivery date
- Provides transit time analysis to ensure accurate transit times are used in planning
- Provide daily support to manage the “real time challenge” of transport, to ensure balance with business needs and freight cost
- Supports the resolution of master data errors found in SAP or TMS, with support from the internal and external stakeholders
- Supports regional and global transportation and distribution sourcing events including validation of volumes and business requirements, carrier selection and saving tracking
- Monitors the carrier performance with agreed KPIs and manages the carrier business review
- Lead /support implementation of any new mode/ forwarder/carrier in accordance with QA standards, Service Level Agreements, SOP’s and Terms and Conditions
- Works with appropriate internal groups to update new lanes, rates etc. and manages spot bids and new lane carrier assignments

Qualifications
Requirements and Experience
⁃ Min 4 years experience within supply chain; transportation planning and logistics within region preferred
⁃ Bachelor degree required
⁃ Experience Working With a Transportation Management System Preferred
⁃ Strong communications skills and ability to work in a fast paced, global consumer goods organization
⁃ Experience working in SAP preferred, or other ERP system
⁃ Proficiency in English required, with additional language skills applicable to the region
⁃ Work in a team environment
⁃ Excellent communication skills
