Responsibilities

Job Description:

Perform daily laboratory tasks, such as cell culture including freezing and thawing. Experience in cell culture is an advantage
Perform quality control tasks, including flow cytometry and immunostaining
Data entry and report generation after processing and testing
Perform daily start-up and end-check records, and safety inspections
Maintain clean and tidy laboratory environment especially the processing room
Ensure maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Responsible for material, consumables and supplier management of lab
Support R&D process development, including documentation and knowledge transfer
Responsible for other duties as assigned by the line manager

Requirements

Higher Diploma and/or Degree or higher in Science or related laboratory science discipline
Experience in the use of sterile technique, maintenance of laboratory equipment and inventory management
Experience in working in accordance with accredited organizations such as ISO/AABB/CAP compliant quality assurance system is a plus
Awareness of safety requirements in the laboratory environment
Strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work independently and to work well as part of a team
Candidates with more experience will be offered the position of Senior Lab Technician
