The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professional to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department.
Responsibilities:
- To provide project management and clerical support to project managers
- To execute the promotion and publicity plan to maximize the impact of the project
- To recruit and liaise with participating companies for their onsite and online presences at international trade fairs and outbound missions
- To handle enquiries from participating companies
- To provide support on database compilation and data entry into systems
- To follow up with different parties for the compilation of various reports
- To provide onsite support of the projects (local, the mainland or overseas) as required by project managers
- To ensure smooth and timely operation of the events and related activities
- To provide clerical and logistics support for industry advisory committees
Requirements:
- University graduate with a minimum of 3 years of solid experience in project management and/or event management is preferred, in particular with past experience in trade exhibition and business mission
- Prior experience in customer service and/or administration is an advantage
- Interest in data analysis and direct customer communication is preferred
- Proactive, self-initiated, and very attentive to details
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work OT upon request
- Candidates with less solid experience will be offered at Project Executive
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be offered.
