Decent flexibility for lab roles, but still hands-on
Pros: As an Embryologist, I appreciate the occasional flexibility for admin tasks. Some days you can work remotely, which is a nice perk in the San Francisco office for the IVF industry. It helps with personal appointments.
Cons: True work from home isn't really an option for core lab work, obviously. You're mostly onsite for the 40-hour week. Last-minute schedule changes can be tough on personal plans.
Advice to Management: Consider exploring more hybrid options for non-lab specific duties. Better communication on scheduling changes would really help staff manage their personal lives.
