Decent Flexibility for Corporate Role in Jakarta
Pros: As a Financial Analyst, I've had decent work flexibility here. We can do hybrid work a few days a week, which is a big plus for a company of APP Group's size in Jakarta. My manager is usually understanding if I need to shift my hours for personal stuff.
Cons: The core office hours are still pretty strict; it's not like you can just set your own schedule. During crunch times, like month-end closing, the flexibility really drops off. Sometimes the tech support for working from home isn't the best, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Keep improving the hybrid model and invest more in reliable WFH technology. It makes a real difference in employee satisfaction and productivity.

Pay's Okay, But Benefits Need Improvement Here
Pros: The base salary for a Supply Chain Coordinator in the Jakarta office is pretty competitive for the agribusiness industry. I also liked the health insurance plan; it was solid and covered a lot.
Cons: However, the annual bonus structure wasn't very transparent and felt pretty low compared to other large corporate companies. There isn't much room for salary negotiation either, which is a bummer for a company this size.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent with bonus criteria and consider offering better long-term incentives to retain talent, especially for roles like Supply Chain in a competitive market.

Leadership is hit or miss here
Pros: Some department leads are genuinely great. They really support you as a Project Coordinator, especially in our Chicago, IL office. You'll find good mentors if you're lucky, and they push for growth within the corporate environment.
Cons: Upper management often feels disconnected. There's a lack of clear direction, which makes strategic planning tough. Decision-making can be slow, and sometimes it seems like they don't value employee feedback for hybrid work policies.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving communication from the top down. Be more transparent with strategic goals and actively seek employee input, especially regarding evolving work arrangements like hybrid schedules.
