Pros: I liked the hybrid model, honestly. Getting to work from home a couple days a week was a big plus for an IT Support Specialist like me. It helped with the long commute to the Jakarta office, especially since we're in a big corporate environment.
Cons: Still, on-site days could be long. Sometimes, even when I was working remotely, I felt pressured to be available late. It's not always easy to truly disconnect, especially in the tech industry where issues pop up anytime.
Advice to Management: Managers should trust teams more with remote work. Less micromanaging would go a long way. Define clear boundaries for after-hours contact.

Pros: The medical insurance package is pretty good, covers most things for me and my family. We also get a yearly bonus if the company hits its targets, which helps as a Software Engineer. It's a solid benefit package for the onsite work arrangement in a mid-sized corporate environment.
Cons: Base salary for IT professionals here feels a bit low compared to other Jakarta tech companies. Raises aren't very common, and when they happen, they're not huge. You won't find many extra perks beyond the standard stuff, unlike some bigger tech industry players.
Advice to Management: Review the salary bands for entry-level and mid-level roles to be more competitive. Attracting top talent in the Jakarta tech market requires more than just standard benefits.

Advice to Management: Really commit to the hybrid work arrangement. Don't just say it's flexible, make it truly flexible for everyone, especially for IT support roles that can easily be done remotely. Trust your teams more.
