Leadership is Okay, Needs More Consistency
Pros: You get solid exposure to big IT consulting projects, especially on the digital transformation front. Some senior consultants are really supportive mentors, which is great for career growth. There's a decent camaraderie among the team in the Jakarta office.
Cons: The leadership consistency is a real issue here. Senior management sometimes struggles with clear communication and a unified vision. It often feels like decisions aren't made with enough input from those on the ground, affecting project delivery.
Advice to Management: Focus on developing a more unified leadership vision and improve two-way communication channels. Empower project leads to make more decisions and listen to feedback from consultants on the ground.

Culture is okay, but tough hours sometimes
Pros: I've learned a lot about IT consulting and project delivery here. The team in the Jakarta office is supportive, which helps with client engagements. It's a solid corporate environment for growth if you push.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit rigid, honestly. Work-life balance is tough, especially during intense project phases. There's not much room for work flexibility, mostly onsite.
Advice to Management: Try to lighten the workload for consultants. More hybrid options would help morale.

Pay is Decent, Benefits Need a Boost
Pros: As a Consultant, the base salary for me in the Jakarta office was decent. It's competitive enough for the consulting industry here. They do provide some good allowances too, which helps with daily costs.
Cons: But the overall benefits package isn't very competitive, especially when you look at other corporate roles. Things like health insurance or retirement plans could really be better. It just doesn't feel like they're investing enough there.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously review the benefits package. Better health coverage and retirement options would make a big difference for us corporate employees. Improving benefits could really help with retention in the consulting industry.
