Pros: I really appreciate the work flexibility here as a Software Engineer. It's great being able to work remote from Seattle and manage my own schedule for personal stuff. They don't micromanage your hours, which is a big plus.
Cons: Project deadlines, especially for our SaaS startup, can be super tight, leading to long work weeks. It feels like the expectation is to always be 'on,' even after hours. Sometimes it's hard to truly disconnect.
Advice to Management: Try to set more realistic project timelines and encourage teams, especially remote ones, to truly log off. It'd really help improve the overall work-life balance for everyone.
