Established in 1991 as a convection factory, PT Mega Perintis Tbk or known as "Mega Perintis" has grown over the years to be one of the most iconic fashion companies focusing both on men's and women's fashion in Indonesia.
There are a few subsidiaries under the group’s flag. The first, Mega Perintis conducts a retail business with brands such as MOC, Manzone, Minimal, Men's Top and Edwin. The second, Mega Putra Garment, focuses on manufacturing and lastly, Mitrelindo Global, conducts retail businesses for international brands such as Levi's, Puma and Adidas.
Currently there are approximately 2,600 employees working and collaborating as parts of The Winning Team at Mega Perintis, and with approximately 720+ both concept stores and in dept-store all over Indonesia.

Pros: The team in the Jakarta office is pretty decent. You learn a lot about basic retail operations and customer service as a Retail Sales Associate. It's a stable onsite job if that's what you need.
Cons: There isn't much career growth. Promotions are really slow for fashion retail roles. I didn't see a clear path to move up or get more responsibilities.
Advice to Management: Please create clearer pathways for career advancement. More training for skills beyond basic sales would help motivate your Retail Sales Associates.
