Pros: The base salary for entry-level design roles isn't terrible to start. You get standard health insurance, which is decent for a mid-sized firm.
Cons: Don't expect big bonuses or frequent raises. The pay for Junior Architectural Designers feels a bit low compared to the industry average, especially in this city. Also, the 401k match is pretty minimal.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the salary bands, especially for Junior Architectural Designer and other design roles. A better 401k matching program would really help with employee retention.
