Pros: There's a good team spirit among the colleagues, which helps a lot during tough production cycles. The company has solid infrastructure for electronics manufacturing, so you usually have the right tools for the job as a Production Engineer. Benefits are decent, especially for a mid-sized company in Jakarta.
Cons: Leadership can be pretty hands-off sometimes, and communication from top management isn't always clear, especially regarding strategic direction for our industrial automation projects. Decisions often feel slow, making it hard to react quickly to issues on the production line. There's not much mentoring or clear career pathing from the senior leadership.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving transparency in decision-making and provide more structured mentorship opportunities for engineering roles. Clearer communication about the future of our electronics manufacturing efforts would also help.
