Job Description
As a Security Engineer, you will design, build, deploy, and support large, best-in-class enterprise-level information security solutions. You will play a critical role in protecting Williams-Sonoma’s information assets and strengthening the company’s security posture.
Responsibilities
- Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets.
- Design, deploy, manage, and improve critical security infrastructure services and tools.
- Analyze existing security processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Define, implement, and tune detective capabilities to detect and remediate malicious activity.
- Manage remediation of security issues with technology and business teams.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure secure configurations.
- Train associates on information security policies and procedures.
- Develop automated security and compliance capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of information security principles.
- Knowledge of firewalls, identity management systems, SIEMs, MFA, Active Directory, antivirus, and vulnerability tools.
- Understanding of networking technologies and security protocols (DNS, DHCP, IPSec, SSL/TLS).
- Experience working with DevOps and SecOps teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, PHP, or PowerShell) is a plus.
