Pros: Plexus, in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry, offers a stable environment. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I've found colleagues very supportive, fostering great learning opportunities in various technologies. The work-life balance is a real strength here; management generally respects personal time, which is valuable in an onsite role. It's a good place for professional development.
Cons: Career progression can be slower than I'd like, requiring patience. Improving inter-departmental communication would also streamline approvals and project flow.
Advice to Management: Focus on enhancing cross-departmental communication to accelerate project timelines and review career progression paths to ensure dedicated employees see clear growth opportunities within the company.

Pros: As a Manufacturing Engineer, I liked the hybrid model. I could WFH a couple days which was good for focus. It's helpful in the Electronics Manufacturing Services industry where you also need to be on the production floor sometimes.
Cons: Don't expect a lot of full remote work though. Even for some technical roles, you're expected onsite a lot. True flexibility isn't always there, especially in our Neenah, Wisconsin office when a line is down.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into more consistent remote options for technical roles where possible. Clearer guidelines for onsite vs. WFH would help too.

Pros: As a Manufacturing Engineer, I felt pretty secure. They've got a good spread of clients across medical devices and industrial products, so there's usually work. It's a big global corporate company, not a small startup, which helps with overall stability.
Cons: Sometimes, when a big client project wraps up, things can get a bit tight for production staff. Layoffs aren't super common, but they do happen if a major revenue stream drops. There's not a ton of growth for long-term job security within the same role.
Advice to Management: Keep communication clear about future project pipelines to help ease concerns about job security for manufacturing and production staff.
