Flexibility is lacking for most corporate roles
Pros: Job security is decent, which is great in the staffing solutions industry. There's always work, and the pay is okay. It's a big corporate structure, so things are consistent.
Cons: The work flexibility here isn't great. As a Program Manager, I found it mostly an onsite role, making true hybrid work pretty rare. Getting approval for remote days was always a struggle, even for non-client facing tasks.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously look at more flexible work options, especially hybrid models. It would really boost morale and help attract talent for roles like Program Manager.

Decent Culture, But Watch the Workload
Pros: The team here is super supportive, which is a huge plus. As a Recruitment Consultant, I always felt like colleagues had my back, especially on tricky temp placements. The hybrid work model in the Melbourne office is a nice perk too.
Cons: There's a lot of pressure to hit targets, and it often means working extra hours. Management can be a bit disconnected from the day-to-day grind in the staffing industry, which impacts overall company culture.
Advice to Management: Try to be more visible and understand the daily challenges Recruitment Consultants face. Address the burnout before people leave.

Leadership is a bit hit or miss
Pros: Some direct managers are really supportive, which is a big plus for Program Coordinator roles. You get decent exposure to different parts of the staffing industry. The Sydney office has a good team vibe at the ground level.
Cons: The higher-up leadership often lacks a clear vision, making things confusing. It feels like there's not enough consistent direction from the corporate level. This really affects project clarity and overall team morale.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating a consistent leadership vision across all departments. More transparency and clear communication from the top would help a lot. Invest in leadership training too.
