Leadership has its moments, good and bad
Pros: My direct project managers were usually solid. As an IT Consultant, I always felt supported when client issues popped up. There's decent autonomy, especially working remote, which is a plus for getting things done.
Cons: Upper leadership can feel pretty disconnected from the daily work. Big decisions often drop without much warning or clear reasoning. Communication from the top on strategy isn't always what you'd call 'great'.
Advice to Management: Try to bridge that gap between executive leadership and the actual project teams. More transparency in strategic decisions would really help, especially for us remote IT Consultant roles. It'd build more trust.
