Great Place for Career Growth and Strong Leadership
Pros: I've really benefited from the hands-on training and mentorship at Michael Page. Our leadership team in the London office does a fantastic job providing clear guidance and development opportunities for Recruitment Consultants. There's a genuine focus on career progression and upskilling, which is great for anyone looking to build a long-term career in professional services recruitment. The team culture is also very collaborative; colleagues are always ready to help out.
Cons: Sometimes, the internal approval processes can feel a bit slow, especially when you're trying to move quickly on a new client or candidate. It can occasionally create bottlenecks. Also, while work flexibility is generally good, there are definitely busy periods in this fast-paced recruitment agency environment where work-life balance can be a bit challenging. Clearer communication on company-wide changes could also be improved.
Advice to Management: Continue to invest in streamlining internal processes and improving communication channels across teams. While the leadership is strong, faster decision-making and clearer updates would help us on the front lines, especially during peak recruitment periods.

Great place to launch a recruitment career
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Recruitment Consultant here at Michael Page. The training and development opportunities for a career in recruitment are excellent; they truly invest in you. The team environment is super supportive, and my colleagues in the London office are fantastic. It's a fast-paced environment but very rewarding if you put in the effort. Plus, the hybrid work arrangement is a great perk, offering good work flexibility.
Cons: The pace can be pretty intense, especially during peak hiring seasons for clients in the professional services industry. Sometimes the internal approval processes for new initiatives feel a bit slow, which can be frustrating when you're trying to move quickly. While leadership is generally strong, I think cross-departmental communication could be more consistent to ensure everyone's on the same page.
Advice to Management: Continue to foster leadership development that emphasizes clear, consistent communication across all teams and departments. Streamlining some of the internal approval processes would also greatly benefit consultants.

Supportive Leadership and Great Growth in Recruitment
Pros: I really appreciated the supportive leadership at Michael Page. My managers were always there to offer guidance and help me develop my skills in candidate sourcing and client management. It's a great environment for career growth, especially if you're keen to climb the ladder in a global recruitment firm.
Cons: Sometimes the administrative workload as a recruitment consultant can feel a bit heavy. The approval processes can be a little slow, which occasionally impacts efficiency when dealing with urgent client needs. But it's manageable.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some of the internal approval workflows to empower consultants and improve turnaround times for clients. It would really help with efficiency.
