Company Reviews

Most outsourcing companies give you a vendor. Connext works with a Co-management model in which the team members are chosen by you and embedded into your teams and systems. This allows you to work smarter, faster, and more accurately, while staying in full control.

Our co-sourcing model means you manage the team, and we handle everything else: recruiting, HR, compliance, facilities, and technology, all aligned to your KPIs.

Decent Stability for Software Engineers at Connext
Pros: As a Software Engineer, the project pipeline is pretty consistent. I've felt pretty secure in my role, especially doing remote work. This mid-sized tech company usually plans well.
Cons: The future of some smaller initiatives isn't always super clear. If you're not on a core product team in the tech industry, there's a bit more uncertainty. Projects can sometimes get reprioritized fast.
Advice to Management: Keep the core teams well-informed about long-term project goals. Try to provide clearer roadmaps for all teams to boost overall confidence.

Decent work-life balance for tech industry
Pros: They're pretty good about 40-hour weeks for software development roles. The hybrid model in the San Francisco office is a plus for collaboration but also gives WFH flexibility. PTO is solid, you actually get to use it without guilt.
Cons: Sometimes projects get crunched, and you'll put in extra hours. It's not always consistent, especially towards release cycles. You might feel a bit burnt out during those times, which impacts work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Try to smooth out project timelines more to avoid crunch periods. It would help maintain consistent work-life balance.

Decent Place, But Career Growth Stalls
Pros: The hybrid work environment is pretty solid; it's easy to balance home and office life in Austin. I've learned a lot about project methodologies, especially within the IT services industry, which was great for my initial role. They do offer some solid training when you first start.
Cons: Career growth here is genuinely tough, especially for project management roles. There aren't many clear opportunities to move up or switch departments, which feels really stagnant. As an Associate Project Manager, I felt stuck after a year with no visible promotion path in this mid-sized tech company.
Advice to Management: You really need to create clearer career paths and offer more internal promotion opportunities. It would help a lot with retaining talent, especially for employees in early-career project management roles. People want to see a future.
