Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer here in Austin, TX is actually pretty solid. I've seen worse, especially for a mid-sized tech company. They pay on time, which is always a plus.
Cons: Benefits are just okay. Health insurance isn't amazing, and the 401k match is pretty low. There isn't much in terms of perks, so don't expect much beyond the standard stuff.
Advice to Management: Look at boosting the 401k match and improving health insurance plans. Better benefits would really help with employee retention.
