Decent Balance, Team Dependent
Pros: The hybrid work model is a huge plus for software engineering roles, giving us some WFH days. I liked having that flexibility for my schedule, especially in the Austin, TX office.
Cons: Project deadlines for new cloud infrastructure projects can be brutal. I sometimes ended up working 50+ hour weeks, which really drains you. It's tough to keep a good work-life balance when things get super busy.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workload during peak project cycles and ensure proper staffing for critical cloud infrastructure deployments.

Pay is fine, but benefits need work
Pros: The base salary for a Cloud Architect here was pretty decent, can't complain too much about that. My 401k match was also solid, which is always a plus. It's okay for remote roles in the cloud computing industry.
Cons: Bonuses aren't great at all, definitely on the lower side compared to other big tech firms. There aren't many stock options available for us, which feels like a miss. PTO accrues super slowly, it's tough.
Advice to Management: I'd really tell management to look at the bonus structure and start offering some real stock options, especially for experienced technical roles. Also, a better PTO policy would make a huge difference.

Hybrid Life at Cloud Bridge is a Mixed Bag
Pros: You get some flexibility with the hybrid model, which is nice. It's usually two days WFH, three in the Austin office, which helps with appointments. For individual contributor roles, it's pretty manageable.
Cons: The problem is, it's not truly flexible for technical roles like a Software Engineer. There's an expectation to be onsite for team syncs, even if your actual coding could be done anywhere. Full remote options are basically non-existent, which is a real bummer in today's IT industry.
Advice to Management: Really consider expanding truly flexible or full remote options, especially for roles that don't absolutely require daily onsite presence. The IT industry is changing, and more flexibility attracts top talent.
