Great Flexibility for Remote Roles
Pros: The WFH policy here is genuinely good; you can really set your own hours. Being able to work remote from Melbourne gave me a lot of personal freedom. It's a huge plus for life balance.
Cons: Sometimes it feels like you're always connected, even with all the flexibility. Collaboration can be tricky with a fully remote startup team when people are in different time zones. Clearer communication about 'off' hours would help.
Advice to Management: Keep promoting asynchronous work and consider tools that better manage time zone differences for a smoother remote experience. Remind everyone it's okay to disconnect.

Solid culture for a health tech startup
Pros: People are genuinely nice and super helpful. As a Software Engineer, I found the engineering team really collaborative in the remote setup. The vibe here is positive, especially for a health tech startup focused on digital health.
Cons: Sometimes things move really fast, which can feel a bit chaotic. Communication could be clearer across departments; it's tough when you're growing quickly. Maintaining those strong personal connections as a remote company takes extra effort.
Advice to Management: Keep working on cross-department communication. Find more ways to really foster connections among the remote team members.

Decent place, but startup vibes mean less security
Pros: The team is super collaborative; everyone's pretty passionate about the digital health mission. You learn a ton working in a fast-paced health tech startup like this. Plus, being remote from Sydney gives good flexibility.
Cons: Job security is definitely a concern. We've seen some team restructuring, which makes people nervous. As a Product Manager, you always wonder if your role is truly stable in this kind of rapidly changing environment. It's not a place for long-term comfort.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication regarding company stability and future plans. It would really help calm nerves and improve job security perception for remote employees and those in critical product roles.
