Junior Software Developer

Okay Start, Tough to Grow Here
Pros: You get a good start for `junior software developer` roles. The initial learning curve is okay and your team is usually supportive. It's solid for getting some general `software development` experience in the `Seattle` office.
Cons: Actual `career growth` is super slow, it's tough to move up. Mentorship for advancing isn't really structured well for a `mid-size tech firm`. It's hard to get new, challenging responsibilities after your first year.
Advice to Management: Invest in clearer career ladders for developers, especially for moving from junior to mid-level. More structured mentorship programs would also really help retain talent and show a commitment to employee development.

Junior Software Engineer

Culture's a bit tough, decent people though
Pros: Some teammates are really supportive, which is nice. As a Junior Software Engineer, I've learned a lot from my immediate peers. The Chicago office has a pretty good vibe for social events sometimes.
Cons: The overall company culture feels pretty top-down. There's not much room for new ideas, especially for junior roles. It's a very 'do what you're told' corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Listen to your employees, especially those in entry-level tech roles. Encourage more collaboration and new ideas to improve the overall atmosphere.
