Decent for growth, watch the work hours.
Pros: As a Junior Software Engineer, I got tons of experience in IT consulting. The remote work setup from Krakow, Poland was super flexible, which is a big plus for personal life.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really hit or miss. It's often tough to maintain 40-hour weeks, especially nearing project deadlines. You can feel a lot of pressure to put in extra time.
Advice to Management: Managers should protect their teams better from last-minute client demands to help with work-life balance.

Okay job security, project-based work has ups and downs
Pros: They have a lot of clients, so there's usually a new project coming up. As an IT Consultant, I rarely had long periods of being on the bench. The company is pretty established in the IT services industry.
Cons: Job security here feels project-dependent. When a project ends, there's a scramble to find the next one, which can be stressful. Layoffs aren't common, but roles can change fast if a client pulls out.
Advice to Management: Try to create more long-term internal projects or skill development programs for consultants between client engagements. It would boost morale and job security.

Decent Job Security, But Project Shifts Happen
Pros: For a big corporate IT services company, the job security for core roles like software developer is decent. They usually try to place you on a new project if yours ends, which is helpful. You don't often hear about huge layoffs here.
Cons: Sometimes project changes happen really fast. I've seen some remote developers get moved around a lot due to these shifts. This can make long-term stability feel a bit shaky if you like routine and consistent projects.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate project changes and potential reassignments earlier. It would help employees feel more secure and less stressed about their next move.
