WFH helps, but work-life balance is just okay.
Pros: I appreciate the remote work setup; it saved me commute time, which definitely helps with fitting in personal appointments. As a Recruitment Specialist, I also had some flexibility with my daily schedule as long as I hit my metrics for talent acquisition. The WFH option is a big plus here.
Cons: The work-life balance can be tough, especially during peak hiring seasons for our clients. It's not uncommon to work 50+ hour weeks, and client demands often mean late calls. The startup culture really emphasizes hitting targets, which sometimes leads to burnout.
Advice to Management: Try to implement clearer boundaries around client communication hours to help with employee burnout. Maybe hire more staff during busy periods.

Pros: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I've appreciated the ability to work remote from Texas. It's a huge plus in the recruitment industry not to have a daily commute. They offer core hours but generally trust you to manage your own schedule.
Cons: However, true work-flexibility isn't always there. There's pressure to be available for impromptu meetings. It can be tough when you need to step away during the day for personal appointments.

Decent Place, But Job Security A Bit Shaky
Pros: I really liked the team culture. We could work remote most days, which was great for my work-life balance as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The tech we used was pretty solid for a recruiting tech startup.
