Pros: As a Management Consultant here, I've had some good WFH days. The hybrid model allows 2-3 days remote which is nice. It helps balance personal life, especially between client engagements.
Cons: But flexibility often depends on your project manager and client. Some projects need you onsite more, making that WFH policy tough. It's not always consistent across different management consulting teams.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the work flexibility across all projects. It's hard to plan personal life when the hybrid model isn't always reliable. Empower project leads to offer more consistent WFH options.

Pros: The hybrid model is a big plus for work flexibility, especially remote from Texas. You get some solid downtime between projects if you manage it right. For a management consulting role, it's not the worst.
Cons: When project deadlines hit, forget about work-life balance. I've worked 60-70 hour weeks as a Consultant, which is pretty common. It's hard to predict those crunch times, and they really burn you out.
Advice to Management: Try to forecast project intensity better and give Consultants more lead time. Don't overload teams, especially during critical client deliverables.
