Pros: The base salary as a Software Engineer here is pretty competitive, especially since I'm remote from Austin, TX. They also provide solid equipment for our WFH setup. It's a decent spot for pure compensation in the tech industry.
Cons: Health insurance options aren't great; it's high deductible plans. PTO isn't as generous as other mid-sized tech companies, which is a bummer. The overall benefits package really needs an upgrade.
Advice to Management: Invest more in comprehensive health benefits and increase PTO. It would make Itekako much more competitive for talent, especially for engineering roles.
