Operations Coordinator

Decent, but not much work flexibility here
Pros: It's a consistent onsite role, so you always know when you're needed for food service operations. The schedule usually sticks once set. That's good if you like routine.
Cons: True work flexibility isn't really a thing, especially for onsite roles like an Operations Coordinator. Adjusting hours or getting time off for personal stuff feels like a huge ask.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing some hybrid options or at least more understanding policies for personal scheduling needs, especially for longer-term employees in operational roles.

Decent place for now, but growth is slow.
Pros: You'll learn the ropes fast in the catering roles here. It's good for entry-level folks getting into the hospitality industry. The team at the Atlanta office is pretty solid, always helping each other out.
Cons: Career growth felt pretty non-existent as a Catering Coordinator. There aren't many clear paths to move up, even if you've been here a while. You often see external hires get management roles instead of internal promotions.
Advice to Management: Create clearer internal promotion paths and invest more in training for existing employees. Recognize talent within the company before looking externally for higher-level positions. This would boost morale and retain good staff.

Steady work, but don't expect big moves
Pros: As a Catering Supervisor, the work for in-flight catering operations is pretty consistent here. It's a global catering company, so job security for my onsite role in Atlanta, GA felt solid. You usually know your schedule and have consistent hours.
Cons: There's not a lot of upward movement for roles in food service operations. It feels stagnant, and while my specific job was stable, I've seen other departments go through constant restructuring. That always makes you question long-term security.
Advice to Management: Focus on clear career paths for employees and be more transparent about organizational changes.
