Company Reviews

MAVI is the first AI-driven solution for high-quality global finance and accounting talent on demand.

For growing companies, building an in-house team with the right talent is crucial to keep up with an increasingly complex accounting function and set up processes for scale. But traditional staffing for accounting is broken - high costs, low quality, long turnarounds. Top that off with a national talent shortage, and plugging in critical gaps becomes twice as hard.

MAVI uses proprietary technology and a differentiated marketplace model to connect US companies with high-quality, pre-vetted global finance and accounting talent for full-time or part-time roles – in just 5 days at 50-70% less cost than alternative solutions.

? High-Quality Talent
Our rigorous vetting process assesses skill, experience, and culture fit, ensuring a talent pool of only the top 2% of global finance and accounting talent.

? Unmatched Talent ROI
We match you with US-caliber, often ex-Big 4 global finance and accounting talent with experience working in fast-paced US companies and a deep knowledge of US accounting standards (GAAP) – at a fraction of the cost of local equivalents.

⏱️ Hiring at Speed
Our AI-driven solution enables you to onboard someone from our global, rapidly growing talent network in just 5 days, while enjoying the best customer experience. Start with a 14-day trial without paying anything upfront – MAVI handles all the admin, so you can focus on what matters most.

Okay flexibility, but room to grow
Pros: I liked the option for a hybrid model in the New York City office. We got 2-3 WFH days a week which was pretty solid. For a corporate environment in the fashion industry, it's not bad at all.
Cons: It felt like WFH days weren't always respected, though. Sometimes I'd still have to come in for last-minute meetings. As a Merchandising Coordinator, my schedule felt a bit rigid despite the 'flexibility' promise.
Advice to Management: Try to stick to the hybrid policy more consistently. Don't call people into the office for meetings on their designated WFH days. Trust your teams to manage their work remotely.

Decent Flexibility for Fashion Retail
Pros: They offer a pretty solid hybrid model for corporate roles. I've been able to work remotely a few days a week, which is great for work-life balance in the apparel industry. This is especially helpful as a Merchandise Planner.
Cons: The 'flexibility' can be a bit misleading though. Sometimes you're expected to be in the New York City office on short notice. It's not a truly remote-first setup, so don't expect full WFH freedom.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about hybrid expectations and try to standardize the remote policy across departments. Consistency would really help with employee morale.

MAVI: Good Products, Leadership Needs Work
Pros: I liked the product and my immediate team at MAVI. As a Sales Associate, it was decent learning about denim and the fashion retail environment. Some store managers were really supportive in the NYC stores.
Cons: Corporate leadership often feels disconnected from the ground level. We'd get confusing directives, and communication flow for retail operations wasn't always clear. It was tough sometimes with inconsistent expectations, especially concerning inventory management.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving communication from corporate to the retail stores. Invest in more consistent leadership training for all levels, especially for those managing store staff. Help them understand daily operational challenges better to create a more cohesive team.
